Title: "Uncovering Deeper Secrets with John the Ripper - Decrypting Passwords like a Boss"

Yo guys, just wanted to share my latest experiment with the legendary John the Ripper password cracker. I've been experimenting with the tool to see just how deep I can dive into encrypted passwords, and I'm loving what I've found so far. Has anyone else played around with JtR and have some tips to share?

"Lol, nice find on using John the Ripper, OP. But gotta say, I've had way better results with Hashcat, its GPU acceleration makes a huge difference. Anyone got some benchmarks to share on which one performs better?"

Just a heads up, folks, JtR is pretty old news when it comes to password cracking. Modern hash functions like Bcrypt and Argon2 are way more secure, and JtR won't even touch them. Don't rely solely on JtR for serious security audits.

"Hey all, yeah John the Ripper is solid for password cracking. Anyone having issue with it not grabbing all the hash types? I found that adding the '-format=auto' flag helps sometimes"

"Interesting thread, guys. Just wanted to chime in and say I've had mixed success with JtR in the past. Anyone know if it's been updated to tackle newer password hashing algos like Argon2?"
