"Hey all, I'm having some issues connecting to my remote server via SSH and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I've tried restarting the SSH service, updating my keys, and even changing ports, but nothing's working. Anyone else experienced these issues and found a solution?"

"Yeh, I had a similar issue last week, tried restarting the SSH server on the remote end and it worked like a charm. Make sure the SSH port isn't being blocked by your firewall too. Also, check for any typos in the username or password."

"Dude, I've had this issue a ton of times, and I always end up checking my firewall settings. Make sure it's not blocking your SSH traffic, and also double-check your port numbers. That usually does the trick for me."

"Yea, had a similar issue with SSH connections dropping on a Linux server last week. Turns out it was a config issue with my firewall, but it could've been a lot worse if I hadn't checked the logs. Anyone else run into this kind of problem?"

"Cheers for the thread, guys! I've had issues with SSH timeouts before and it's usually due to a firewall or bad network connectivity. Just a heads-up to check your router and server firewall settings, might save some folks some time"

"Been there, done that. I once had a permagen issue due to a firewalled port, changed it to 2222 and it solved my problem. Anyone else have issues with public key authentications?"

"Hey guys, just chimed in on this thread. Had a similar issue last week where I was getting 'connection refused' errors, but it turned out to be a bad SSH key. Make sure you're using the right port and not blocking the connection with your firewall too."
