"Pre-built rigs are cool and all but building your own beast can be super cost-effective if you know what you're doing. I just threw together a gaming PC using some last gen components and it's still holding its own against brand new consoles. Anyone have any experience with AMD GPUs?"

"Just dropped into this thread. For a budget build, consider using an older gen GPU with a 4K-capable monitor - it's gonna be a trade-off but will still look sick. AMD's 5800X is also a great CPU for gaming on a shoestring budget"
