"Hey all, new to the forum and just picked up a JK to start working on. I'm thinking of going with a 6-inch suspension lift but not sure which brand to choose between Bilstein and King. Anyone have any experiences with either of these or have some recommendations?"

"Dude, suspension upgrades are always a good idea, but how much lift are you planning to go for? 4-6 inches is a good sweet spot for a JK, but you gotta make sure you upgrade the shocks and springs accordingly, too."

Dude, suspension upgrades can be a game-changer for off-roading. Have you considered going with Fox shocks? They're pricey but super reliable and worth the investment if you're heading out on rough terrain frequently.

I've done a few suspension upgrades on my old Jeep and I gotta say, go for a 2.5" lift kit if you're planning on keeping some of that ground clearance. Just make sure to check the bump stops and shock extensions to avoid any damage. I did 2" on mine and it handled great, but 2.5" would give you a bit more flex.

"Dude, suspension upgrades are gonna take it to the next level, but you gotta consider the coilovers and shocks individually. The Bilstein 5100s are solid, but if you're lookin' for more aggressive drop, you might wanna check out the King or FOX. What's your budget lookin' like for the upgrade?"

I've got a JK and I just did the same thing, upgraded to a Skyjacker lift kit and added some 35" Toyo ATs. Now my ride is way higher and I'm getting some serious clearance off-road. What size did you end up going for the wheels?

I'm no suspension expert, but I've heard the Hellfire kit from AEV is a solid choice for a JK. It's pretty pricey, but the reviews say it's worth it for the stability and ride quality. Has anyone in here got hands-on experience with that setup?

Dude, I'm all about upgrading to a coilover setup if you're serious about suspension. It makes a huge difference in handling and ride quality. Can't wait to see pics of your finished lift, good luck with the planning process.
