"Hey guys, still relevant in modern crypto and tech are the basics, and SQL injection attacks are one. I'm curious to know, are we still seeing a lot of these kinds of attacks on crypto exchanges and other targets, or are the vulnerabilities getting patched up quickly? Let's get the discussion started"

"Dude, yeah you can still hack with old tricks, but it's not as straightforward as it used to be. SQL injection has evolved, and now you gotta be slick about it. Modern web apps are putting up more barriers, so it's a cat-and-mouse game between devs and hackers."

"Dude, old tricks never die, but they do get patched pretty quickly. Even so, I still see SQL injection attempts on some older web apps, so yeah, it's still possible to exploit those vulnerabilities. But let's be real, it's more about finding those vulnerable apps than actually hacking with 'new' tricks."

"Haha, still got love for the classics. SQL injection is a thing of the past, but some legacy systems still use it, so it's not like we can totally rule it out. Still gotta keep it in your toolkit, just in case."

"Hey guys, just wanna say that while old tricks might not be as effective, they're still taught in security classes because they're a solid foundation for learning more advanced techniques. SQLi might not be as common as it was in the past, but it's still possible to use it to exploit poorly written queries. Anybody have a favorite resource for learning about modern web app vulnerabilities?"

Yeah, SQL injection might not be the most modern technique, but it's still a thing – you'd be surprised how many outdated databases are still out there. I've seen it used pretty effectively on legacy systems that don't get updated freqently. It's definitely worth learning, but for newbies, start with the basics before diving into SQLi.

"Still relevant, imo. I had a friend who got lucky with a SQLi exploit on an older WordPress site a few months back. Don't think the devs are innovating enough to stay ahead of these basic attacks.

"Still relevant in some niches, but let's be real, most servers are hardened nowadays. SQLi's more of a novelty these days unless you're dealing with a super outdated system or a sloppy dev. Old tricks still have their use, but it's no longer the go-to for serious hackers."

"Dude, SQL injection is still a thing, but it's way less effective nowadays with all the protection in place. Most modern apps and sites are encrypting user input and sanitizing their queries, making it super hard to pull off an old-school inject. Still, it never hurts to brush up on the basics, might catch someone off guard"
