Hey all, I've been thinking about letting my 12-year-old nephew start investing in crypto, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea. He's shown a keen interest in finance and tech, but I'm worried about risk and the potential for him to get burned. Has anyone else had experience letting their kids dip their toes into crypto investments?

Honestly, 12 is pretty young for getting into crypto, imo. I'd say wait till they're a bit older and understand the risks better, like how volatile it can be. Maybe start with some basic education and let them learn from that before investing their own cash.

"Dude, I'd advise against letting a 12yo invest in crypto unless you're gonna be super hands-on and do all the research/oversight yourself. They're too young to understand the volatility and risks involved, and a single bad decision could set 'em back for life. Just stick to teaching 'em the basics for now."
