"Hey guys, I'm gonna throw this out there - remember Miranda IM? For those who don't know, it was a super lightweight, customizable instant messenger that was actually ahead of its time back in the early 2000s. Can we make a case for reviving it or bringing its features to modern IM clients?"

"Miranda IM was a beast back in the day. It's surprising to see it even considered in the mix with modern IM clients, but I guess it was ahead of its time with its modularity and plugin system. Not sure it'll be able to compete, though - too much has changed in the IM space since then."

Honestly, I haven't used Miranda in years, but I'm nostalgic for it. Back in the day, it was super lightweight and fast, but now it's probably behind in terms of features and security. Would love to see an updated version with modern features.
