"I'm feeling nostalgic for the old days of PC gaming, and I'm itching to dig up some of the hidden gems from the classic shareware scene. Who here remembers spending hours downloading games from floppy disks and floppy disk images from websites like GameStop's Download section or ZDNet? I'm looking to revive some of these lost classics - anyone have any recommendations?"

"OMG yeah I totally agree, there's something special about retro games. I've been digging through old archives and just found a hidden gem called 'Lode Runner' still runs smoothly on my old PC. Anyone else got some favorite retro shareware games to share?"

"Dude, I'm loving this thread! I spent hours rummaging through old floppy disks and found this sweet copy of 'Transport Tycoon Deluxe' - totally worth the nostalgia trip. Who else has any classic shareware gems to share?"

"Just stumbled upon this thread and had to share - I recently dug up my old CD of 'Fahrenheit' and holy cow, that mod scene was something else. Anyone else remember the days of dial-up internet and 56k modems? Those were the days..."

"Dude, have you guys checked out 'Duke Nukem 3D'? It's an old-school FPS that still holds up today. Some crazy dude even made a mod that lets you play it with cryptocurrency rewards, pretty cool."

"Whoa, this thread has blown my mind! I just dug out my old 3.5" floppy disks with some of the sweetest shareware games from the 90s, and I'm itchin' to fire up my retro rig and play some Lemmings and Transport Tycoon. Does anyone have a good guide on how to get these babies runnin' on modern hardware?"
