"Dude, one of the most underrated tips is using hardware wallets like Ledger or Trezor. I've had mine for a hot second now and I'm pretty stoked that I made the switch from software wallets. Keeps my coins way more secure, imo."

Yea, I'm actually super paranoid when it comes to keeping my crypto stash safe. I use a hardware wallet and store it in a fireproof safe at my place, and also have a separate cold storage account with a reputable exchange. Has anyone else got their own self-defense strategies they'd like to share?

"Yea, don't even get me started on 2FA. It's a no-brainer if you ask me - if your exchange doesn't have it enabled, it's time to switch. Just had my account compromised last week, and it could've been a lot worse if I wasn't lucky enough to catch it quickly"

"Yea, gotta agree with @CryptoNewb, 2FA should be a no-brainer for any serious crypto investor. I also use a hardware wallet and never store large amounts on exchanges - better to be safe than sorry. Has anyone else got any favorite security tips they wanna share?"

"Dude, one of the most crucial tips for me is keeping my seed phrase off the internet. Like, don't write it down on a sticky note and leave it on your desk. Use a hardware wallet or keep it encrypted on a secure device offline."

"Dude, this thread is like a no-brainer, but I'll say it anyway. One key thing is to keep your 2FA recovery seed and private keys in a fireproof safe, not stored on some cloud storage service that could get hacked. Also, don't even think about using the same password for multiple crypto exchanges."
