Its use case as a store of value is still unmatched, and its brand recognition is unparalleled in crypto. I think Bitcoin's dominance is both overhyped and overpowered, in the sense that its market cap is still the biggest but its actual usage and adoption are nowhere near that. It's not as if people are using it for daily transactions or anything like that. It's more of a store of value at this point.

I think BTC's dominance is a double-edged sword. On one hand, it's the OG and has mass adoption, but on the other hand, it's also a target for regulatory crackdowns and has a huge carbon footprint. I'm neutral on it, I hold some for stability but also diversify with other altcoins.
