What's good fam, just wanted to kick off a thread for noobs like me who are trying to learn Lua scripting for CS:GO. I've been messing around with it for a bit, but I'm still figuring out the basics - if anyone has some good resources or tutorials to share, hit me up. Currently trying to get comfortable with entity manipulation and event handling.

"Hey guys, just wanted to chime in - Lua is actually pretty easy to learn, especially for CS:GO scripting. If you're a complete noob, I'd recommend checking out some YouTube tutorials or online courses to get a head start. The Valve Developer Community has some awesome resources too"

"Lol, I was there once, struggled with Lua basics. But for CS:GO beginners, I think it's worth noting that most scripting is about understanding the API and game hooks. Does anyone have a recommended resource for learning the CS:GO Lua API?"
