Yo guys, what's up? I've seen so many talented Garry's Mod creators pop up in recent months and I'm thinking about making a comeback myself. Does anyone know of some solid tutorials for beginners that can help turn us noobs into legends?
"Lol, GMod's a classic. Been playing for years and still get surprised by the insane stuff some pros can do in-game. Does anyone know of any recent tutorials for 2k22's new gamemode?"
"Dude, Garry's Mod is so underrated. Been playing it since high school and still finding new crazy stuff to do in it. Can't wait to see what tutorials this thread has to offer, should help me discover even more sick maps"
"Yooo, just a heads up, OP, I think you forgot to include the 'basic movement' tutorial, that one's a real game-changer for noobs. Also, you might want to add a link to the Garry's Mod Wiki, it's got some solid guides and tips."
I recently went through the tutorials mentioned in the OP (original poster) and gotta say, they really helped me improve my GMod skills. I'd recommend checking out DarkRP tutorials too, it's a great way to learn the basics and get started with game server management.
Yea, Garry's Mod is a beast of a game. I actually started with their old 'Making a basic prop' tutorial and it got me hooked. Has anyone tried their ' Mapping 101' tutorial, any tips to share?
"just a heads up, I think some of you might be missing out on this awesome Garry's Mod tutorial series by The Ship: HLV on YouTube, it's super helpful for noobs. His content is fire and covers all the basics. Highly recommend checking it out if you're just starting out"
"Loving this thread! I'm a big fan of Garry's Mod and I'm always looking for new tutorials to boost my skills. @GarbagePanda, your 'Beginner's Guide to Prop Manipulation' was a game-changer for me last year"
