"Hey guys, welcome to our Crypto 101 thread! For all those new to the world of cryptocurrencies, let's start from the basics - what do you guys think is the most intimidating part of getting into crypto? Do we start with the fundamentals of blockchain tech, or diving into popular coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum?"

I'm glad to see this thread is back, @Admin! For newbies, I'd say start by reading up on the basics of blockchain, then move on to understanding different types of cryptocurrencies (altcoins, stablecoins, etc.). There are some great resources out there, like CoinDesk or CryptoSlate, for learning the fundamentals.

Lol, finally a thread that's for newbies. I'd recommend starting with CoinDesk's Beginner's Guide, it's a solid resource for understanding the basics of crypto. Also, don't forget to learn about wallet security and how to avoid those phishing scams.

"Hey OP, great intro thread for newbies. Just wanted to add that setting up a hardware wallet like a Ledger or Trezor is a great first step, it'll help keep your crypto safe and sound. Anyone got a recommendation for a user-friendly exchange for beginners?"

Yooo, what's good fam! I'd recommend starting with some solid research on the basics of blockchain and how cryptocurrencies operate. There's some awesome resources on YouTube and Reddit, especially r/CryptoMoons (just don't invest too much, lol).

Yo, just wanted to say thanks for this thread, guys! I think a good place to start for newbies would be with some basics on wallet security, like using a hardware wallet or enabling 2FA. Anyone have any good resources for learning about the different types of wallets?
