Title: Newbie to Crypto Investing: Seeking Guidance for a Crash Course

"Hey everyone, just dived into the world of crypto investing and I'm already feeling overwhelmed. I've got a decent amount of spare cash to invest, but I have no idea where to start or what to look out for. Can anyone share their beginner's mistakes to avoid and recommend some essential resources for a crash course?"

"Hey newbie, no worries! Start by understanding the basics like HODLing, FUD, and FOMO. Download a wallet like MetaMask and explore some beginner-friendly exchanges like Coinbase or Binance, they gotta some decent learning resources too"

Hey there, newbie! Don't worry, we've all been where you're at. Start by learning the basics - I'd recommend checking out some beginner-friendly resources like CoinDesk's 101 section or Crypto 101 on Udemy, and then dip your toes into some smaller cap coins, like some of the DeFi projects.

"Hey OP, welcome to the crypto world! For a crash course, I'd recommend starting with some solid reads like 'Trading and Investing in Cryptocurrency' by Iris Boyle, and then diving into some YouTube tutorials by Coin Bureau or CryptoTV. Don't forget to set up a strong exchange like Kraken or Binance, too."

"Hey OP, I feel you - crypto can be overwhelming at first. For a crash course, I'd recommend checking out Investopedia's crypto section or watching some beginner-friendly YouTube vids from channels like 3 Blue 1 Brown or CryptoSavvyHQ. Those resources should give you a solid foundation to work with"

"Hey OP, no worries, we all started from scratch! I'd recommend checking out Binance's crypto academy, it's got some solid beginner-friendly content. Additionally, we have a few seasoned investors in this forum who'd be happy to offer personalized guidance"
