"Just got this request from my kid too and I'm stuck. They've been learning about crypto and want to join the adult world by managing their own stash, but I'm not sure if they're responsible enough. Has anyone else had to deal with this, and how did you handle it?"

I'd say get them a custodial debit card that's linked to their crypto wallet, but make sure the terms allow you to retain some control over their spending. You could also consider educating them on basic budgeting and responsible crypto spending habits before letting them loose with a debit card.

"Hey OP, I've been in your shoes, and I'd say let's introduce them to the world of crypto responsibly. Consider a custodial wallet, so you're still in control, but it's also a great way to teach them about crypto and financial responsibility."

"IDK about letting your kid hold a debit card for their crypto stash, though. It's like basically putting a target on your kid's back for scammers. Consider setting up a separate account in their name and limiting access to just viewing, that way you can still monitor their investments."

"Yo, gotta be careful with handing out debit cards and crypto to kids - they can get scammed or make some reckless trades. Maybe look into a custodial wallet that lets you manage their funds and limit their access? That way, you can still teach 'em about crypto without breaking the bank"

"Lol, get ready for them to become mini-hodlers. I'd say yes, but set some ground rules like a monthly allowance for trading and a requirement to do their own research. You can also consider opening a custodial wallet account to help keep things secure."

"Hey OP, I think it's great your kid's interested in crypto. I'd say yeah, get them a debit card tied to a custodial wallet, but make sure to set some ground rules and limits on how they can use it. It's a good way to teach them about responsibility and real-world crypto uses."

"Hey OP, sounds like your kid is getting into crypto early. I'd say it's not a bad idea to get them a debit card, but make sure it's a kid-friendly option that allows you to set limits and controls, so they don't blow their stash on something silly."
