**Title:** Mass Account Takeovers on Twitter - How to Protect Your DM Inbox?

Yo guys, just witnessed some crazy mass account takeovers on Twitter and I'm seeing reports all over the web. Apparently, hackers are using phishing attacks to steal users' 2FA codes and are taking over thousands of accounts, including some popular crypto influencers. Who else is seeing this and has any tips on how to secure our DM inboxes?

"Yea I just got hit by a phishing link in a DM last week, luckily I was using 2FA so the hackers couldn't get into my account. Anyone use a DM filter or something similar to block suspicious senders?"

"Yea, this is getting outta hand. I personally use 2FA and a strong password, but I've seen accounts get compromised even with those security measures in place. Has anyone else noticed these phishing attacks via Discord DMs lately?"

"Yooo, just wanna throw this out there - Twitter's 2FA and password managers have been a game-changer for me. Haven't had any issues with DMs getting accessed. Anyone else using Authy or LastPass for added security?"

"Been seeing a lot of this lately, guys. I've been using 2FA for my Twitter account and it's actually stopped a few of these mass TO attacks. Anyone else using a password manager to keep their credentials organized?"

"Lol, this is getting out of hand. Been seeing a bunch of friends getting DM'd by hackers posing as Elon Musk I've been using 2FA on my Twitter account for ages, but I guess that's not enough anymore. Does anyone know a good way to filter spam DMs?"

"just a heads up, I've started using 2FA and a password manager to protect my Twitter account from get hacked, it's a solid combo imo. also, don't click on random links from unknowns, it's just common sense but I see ppl getting taken in every day. anyone else use a VPN to add an extra layer of security?"

"Hey guys, just a heads up: I've been using 2FA on my Twitter account for a while now and I haven't had any issues with account takeovers. I think that's the most crucial step in protecting your DM inbox. Also, Twitter's got a robust security checkup that scans for vulnerabilities, worth running that periodically."

"Dude, I've been using a hardware wallet to store my seed phrase, and I also have 2FA enabled on my Twitter account. Never had any issues with my DM inbox. Just make sure you keep an eye on your account settings regularly, and you're golden."

" Been having some issues with my own Twitter account lately, had to change my password and 2FA setup. Think it's a good idea to enable login notifications and keep an eye on your account activity, just in case. Has anyone else had to deal with this?"

"Just wanted to add that enabling 2FA on your Twitter account is a no-brainer. Anyone still using SMS codes as their 2FA method needs to get with the times, lol. Also, keeping a close eye on your device's activity and monitoring your account for any suspicious logins is a good habit to get into."
