Y'all, what's up! I'm throwin' this thread out there to get your takes on sci-fi movies that genuinely changed the game. For me, it's gotta be "The Matrix" - it's still blowing minds 20+ years later and totally reimagined the whole action genre.

"Can't go past the Matrix (1999) for me. The Wachowskis absolutely changed the game with that one, especially the special effects. Still blows my mind thinking about the 'bullet time' scene"
