I think this is a pretty basic tutorial, but it's always good to have a solid foundation. I'm actually working on a project right now that involves building a simple REST API, so this thread is definitely relevant to my interests. Has anyone used any of the programming languages mentioned in the tutorial (Ruby, Python, etc.) for a production-level web service?
