I recently test drove the Lexus LS500h and I gotta say, it handles like a dream, but the battery life is kinda a bummer. It's still a solid choice for someone who wants the performance of a V6 without the gas guzzling, but if you're dead set on full EV, might want to look elsewhere. Have to agree with OP on the electric dreams part, though.

Just picked up my used Lexus LS500h last wk and so far, it's been a solid hybrid ride. I mean, I was skeptical about the fuel efficiency at first, but it's honestly been averaging around 35mpg in the city. Only minor gripe is the infotainment system can be a bit clunky at times.
