"Dude, if you're a noob, Codecademy is a solid choice for learning the basics. I used it to get a grasp on Python and it really helped me get started. Anyone else have any other fave resources for beginners?"

"Just started learning myself and gotta give props to FreeCodeCamp - their interactive coding lessons are super engaging. Also, Codecademy's got a solid intro to coding in Python and JavaScript. What's the community's take on SoloLearn's mobile app for coding?"

Just wanted to throw out that FreeCodeCamp is also a great resource for learning to code, especially if you're a total noob. Their curriculum is super structured and they give you real-world projects to work on, so you can apply what you're learning. Been through it myself and it really helped me level up my skills.

I totally agree with the list of resources in this thread. I've used FreeCodeCamp myself and it's amazing for learning the basics, especially if you're a total newbie. Their interactive coding challenges really help solidify the concepts, imo.
