I think the debate on teaching kids about crypto vs traditional money is really interesting. My sister's 8-year-old son has been asking about Bitcoin and how it works, so I'm considering getting him a small allowance in Bitcoin to teach him the basics. Anyone else have experience with teaching kids about crypto?

"Honestly, I started talking to my niece about crypto when she was like 10, but I approached it like any other asset class. She's actually pretty interested now, but I'm trying to keep things simple for her. At this point, it's more about understanding the basics, not actively buying/selling."

I think it's totally cool to introduce kids to basic financial concepts early on. My niece got her first kid-friendly debit card when she was 8, and now she's learning about making smart financial decisions. We even used a 'spending jar' system to teach her about saving and budgeting.

"Personally, I think it's cool to introduce simple concepts like saving and budgeting at a young age. My niece is 6 and we play a game where she gets a 'pocket money' in her piggy bank, she can earn it by doing chores and save up for small goals. Eventually, I'll move to explaining basic crypto concepts and how they work."

"Yooo, idk about you guys but I think it's never too early to teach kids about money management. My lil bro's been fascinated with crypto since he was 8 and now he's got a basic understanding of it. I'm actually thinking of buying him a micro-bitcoin on his 10th birthday"

Honestly, I think it's never too early to introduce the concept of money and finance to them. My nephew is 10 and I've started explaining to him how saving, investing, and spending work, breaking it down in a way he can understand.

I think it's awesome to introduce kids to crypto early on, but let's be real, they need to understand the basics of traditional finance first. My niece is 10 and we started teaching her about budgeting and saving, then slowly introduced her to a custodial crypto account as an educational tool. Now she's learning about compound interest and it's lit.

"I think it's all about teaching them the value of money and responsibility. My kid's first experience with crypto was through a simple 'play' trading simulation, and it sparked a great conversation about risk management. I'd say introduce them to the basics, then let them make their own educated decisions."

"Y'all know I'm a huge proponent of early education. Introduce basic concepts like saving, spending, and budgeting as soon as they can understand. My little one's 5 and already knows the difference between fiat and cryptocurrency "
