Title: Re: GPU vs CPU: Can We Really Get Away with Using the Motherboard for Rendering?

Hey all, been thinking, with all the AI and ML hype, I started wondering if we're overlooking something obvious - can a motherboard actually handle some basic rendering tasks, or are we still locked into GPU-heavy workflows? My Ryzen board has a pretty beefy integrated Vega GPU, and I'm curious to test its limits. Has anyone experimented with this?

Honestly, I've tried using my motherboard's built-in GPU for rendering and it just isn't worth it. The bottleneck is huge, and you'll end up with subpar performance. Save yourself the frustration and splurge on a proper GPU, trust me.

"Dude, I think it's time to bust the myth about using the motherboard for rendering. You'll be waiting for ages, and those results won't even be worth it. GPU is where it's at for heavy lifting, no debate here"

"Dude, we gotta be realistic here, while the motherboard does handle some rendering tasks, it's nowhere near as capable as a dedicated GPU. I'd say unless you're dealing with super lightweight tasks, it's still best to stick with a separate GPU for rendering."
