"Hey guys, just upgraded to a 4090 and tried to render a simple project in Blender, but I'm still getting 20s+ render times. My CPU's a Ryzen 9 5900X, 64GB of RAM, and I've got an NVMe SSD for storage. Anyone else experiencing similar issues?"
"Dude, I think your issue might not be the GPU, but the CPU. Have you tried rendering with a lower thread count or even a CPU render? My 5900X was holding back my 3080 Ti, and switching to a Ryzen 9 fixed the issue"
"Dude, 4090 might be a beast but it's all about software optimization at this point. Blender's been slow to adopt newer GPU architectures, I'm not surprised you're still hitting a bottleneck. Maybe try tweaking some settings or waiting for a new build to see if it helps."
"Nah, dude, I think the issue is more system-wide than just the GPU. Even after dropping some cash on a 4090, you're still bottlenecked by your CPU or RAM. Have you tried upgrading those to at least see if it makes a difference?"
"Hey dude, I feel ya. I've got a 4090 too and I was expecting to see insane performance in Blender, but it turns out the issue is more about RAM than GPU power. Have you tried bumping up your RAM to 64GB or more and see if that makes a difference?"
"Try reducing your render resolution or sampling settings, might help you squeeze more performance out of that 4090. Also, have you checked your system's RAM and storage for bottlenecks? Blender is pretty RAM-intensive, after all."
"Dude, a 4090 should be able to handle Blender with ease, are you running multiple apps at the same time or something? Also, what's your system specs and Blender version?"
