"Lets get this thread going - I'm curious to hear from all you tech enthusiasts out there. With the rise of 5G and satellite constellations like Starlink, do we really need GPS anymore? Offline navigation apps like OsmAnd and Maps.me have been getting increasingly popular, but are they ready to take over as the primary form of navigation?"

I've been using Maps.me for a while now and it's been a game-changer for me. The offline maps and navigation are incredibly useful, especially when traveling abroad where data roaming can be a killer. Anyone else have a favorite offline navigation app?

I've been using Maps.me for a while now, and it's been a game-changer for me. Even without an internet connection, it still provides decent GPS navigation, and the offline maps are super detailed. Has anyone else tried it for travel?

"Been using Maps.me for a while now and I gotta say, it's been pretty reliable. Offline routing and maps are super convenient when I'm in areas with spotty connectivity. Anyone else using this or have a preferred alternative?"

Honestly, I think offline nav apps are the way forward – we've all been there, stuck with no service in a dead zone trying to get to a destination. I've been using Maps.me for a while now, and it's been a game-changer, especially when traveling abroad.

I'm all for offline navigation apps. They're a game-changer, especially when you're traveling abroad and don't have reliable data coverage. Been using Gaia GPS for a while now, and it's been a lifesaver in remote areas.
