Title: Got Scammed Out of My $10k Gaming Rig - What to Do?

"Hey guys, I'm in a bad spot. Ordered a custom-built gaming PC from a seller on Craigslist, paid $10,000 upfront, only to have them ghost me and disappear without delivering the rig. Has anyone else had a similar experience with scammers on Craigslist?"

"Dude, sorry to hear that. You might wanna check if the seller has a good rating on other marketplaces or if anyone else has had issues with them. Maybe try to reach out to the seller and see if they'll take responsibility for the scam."

"Sorry to hear that, dude. First, I'd report the incident to the police and get a case number. Also, check if you can claim on your home insurance, some policies cover theft of high-value items."

Dude, that's a sick disappointment. Try contacting the seller's payment processor (e.g. PayPal, credit card co.) and report the scam - they might be able to help you out with a refund or dispute. Also, make sure to report the scammer to the site's admin so they can ban them.

"Dude, sorry to hear that - but first, did you report it to the cops and your credit card company ASAP? That's a solid first step in case the scammer tries to use your info for anything else."

"Dude, I'm so sorry to hear that. Have you tried contacting the seller through a mediator like eBay or PayPal, or was it a private sale? Also, did you get any tracking info or a clear description of when/where to meet?"

"Damn, sorry to hear that bro. Did you file a police report? Also, maybe reach out to a cybersecurity expert for advice, they might be able to help you track down the scammers and get some restitution."

"Dude, that's a huge bummer. You should report it to your local PD and try to file a DMV (domestic money violence) report, but I'm not sure what your chances are with $10k in crypto. Has anyone tried contacting the seller or the platform where it went down?"
