Title: Got Hacked While Mining? How to Secure Your Rig with a VPN

"Hey guys, just had my rig get hit by a hacker while I was away for a bit. Got a bunch of my GPU's remotely disabled and had to fork over some cash to pay the ransom (lesson learned, right?). Has anyone else out there had a similar experience? How's it go when it comes to securing your rigs with a VPN?"

"Dude, VPNs can definitely help secure your rig, but it's not a silver bullet. I'd also recommend using a reputable miner's OS, like CGMiner or EasyMiner, and keeping your OS up to date with the latest security patches. Anyone using a VPN have experience with this?"

Just wanted to chime in, OP. I use the NordVPN service on my rigs and it's been a lifesaver so far - their encryption is strong and they have dedicated mining nodes. Highly recommend giving it a shot for your security.
