"Dude, just wanna chime in - I used to have my rig connected to a VPN when I mined on NiceHash back in the day. Honestly, it seemed to cut down on latency and made my life easier when I traveled and needed to access my rig remotely. Never had any issues either."

"Yeh VPNs can give u some extra layer of security, but they ain't a magic bullet. Make sure u configure it properly, esp if u have multiple miners on the same network. Anybody have a rec for a mining VPN, preferably with a kill switch?"
"Dude, using a VPN is a no-brainer, but you gotta make sure it's specifically designed for mining and has a good no-logs policy to avoid any potential issues with exchanges. I've had luck with ExpressVPN, but do some research before committing to a provider. Has anyone else had any success with this setup?"
"Lol, just when I thought I'd learned my lesson from last year's rig hack, my buddy just got hit again . Using a VPN is a great idea, but make sure to get one with a killswitch or your entire rig could be exposed while changing servers."
