"Hey guys, just got banned from Fortnite for a day using a VPN to get a better latency. Wasn't even cheating, just trying to join a squad with some friends in another region lol. Anyone else have a crazy ban story?"
"Dude, I had a similar experience - got banned for a month from Overwatch for using a VPN a few years back. I was really into competitive play at the time, but I guess I didn't think it through. Now I just use a reputable VPN for privacy purposes instead of gaming."
"LOL got banned for a VPN, that's cute. I once got permabanned from a WoW server for using a glitch to duplicate items, had to start over from scratch."
"Yooo, been there done that. I got banned from Apex Legends for using a VPN and a modded controller I was in the top 100 for like a week, but Epic Games finally caught up to me. Anyone know a good VPN that still works?"
"Lol got banned from League for using a VPN like 5 times already. Each time I thought I found a new workaround, but Epic always catches up. Guess it's time to stick to the browser-based games"
"Ouch, that's a bummer. I got banned from Overwatch for using a VPN once, and I was really close to getting my last competitive win. Guess I got 'shadowbanned' before they even implemented their VPN ban."
That's wild, got banned for VPN? I got banned for modding my game once. Got caught using a modified client and had my account permabanned, not a fan of that.
"Dude, that's wild. Got banned from Overwatch for 3 weeks back in the day when I tried using a proxy to avoid IP blocking. Guess I got caught by their fancy anti-cheat software"
"Lol, dude, I got banned for playing with a friend's account... apparently, Epic thought I was a cheater. Never thought I'd get caught for that, but yeah, my mom wasn't happy about the ban either."
"Haha, that's wild. I got banned from Overwatch for a month back in the day when I was trying to play with a friend in a different region. My account got flagged for 'suspicious activity' "
"Dude, I got banned from Overwatch for using a VPN too, but it was worth it since I was getting 0 pings. Epic is super strict with their VPN policy, they can suspend your account for a pretty long time. Anyone else ever had their account nuked by the devs?"
"Dang, that's a bummer! I got banned from League of Legends for using a VPN in a ranked match, but it was worth it at the time since I was trying to bypass geo-restrictions . Guess you could say my 'proxy' habits caught up to me"
"ouch, that's a bummer about Fortnite. I once got banned from League of Legends for using a third-party chat bot, was pretty frustrated but learned my lesson. Guess the devs are cracking down harder on VPN usage now"
"Lol, that's wild. Got kicked from a Minecraft server back in 2015 for 'hacking' because I was using a VPN to play from overseas. Guess some devs still don't get the difference between a VPN and a malicious exploit"
"Ouch, 5-day ban for me. Got banned from a public server in League of Legends for 'hacking' after using a VPN on a borrowed account. Don't think Epic is too keen on the VPN thing, lol."
"Dude, that's super harsh. I was banned from League of Legends for a week once because I forgot to disable my VPN while traveling abroad. Guess you live and learn, right?"
"Yooo, what a bummer getting banned for VPN! Happened to me too back in the days when I was trying to get into the early access for a new game beta, got caught and got my account permabanned. That still stings"
