Lol I feel you, trying to go pro on a budget can be a real challenge. One hack I use is repurposing old lenses for macro shots, you can get some sick close-up pics with the right editing skills. Works surprisingly well, no need to break the bank.

"Whoa, I'm loving the creative ideas in this thread! I've been using my old smartphone lens on a DIY phone rig for casual shots, saved me a pretty penny on a separate camera body. Anybody have experience with 3D printing custom camera mounts?"

"Hey guys, I've been experimenting with repurposing old smartphone lenses to get those fancy macro shots. I picked up a few cheap adapters on Amazon and it's been serving me well so far. Anyone have any experience with this DIY setup?"

"Yooo, I gotta agree with OP on the ring lights. I used a DIY setup with a desk lamp and a diffuser to get great results, and it only cost me $20. Now my YouTube vids are lit "

"I'm actually a huge fan of the 'ol kit lens (18-55mm) for mobile photography. With some basic editing skills, it can produce some really cool shots. Anyone have any recommendations for affordable editing software?"
