"Hey fellow devs, I'm new to the Web3 space and wanting to get started with building dApps. I'm torn between using free online resources (like YouTube tutorials and GitHub repos) vs shelling out cash for paid bootcamps and courses. Has anyone had success with either approach?"

"I'd personally go with the free resources, especially for beginners. Platforms like FreeCodeCamp and OpenZeppelin's learn section have some solid content for getting started with Web3 dev. Their resources are comprehensive and a good starting point before diving into paid bootcamps."

"Dude, I'd say start with the free resources like Codecademy's Web3 course and the tutorials on OpenZeppelin's site. It's gonna save you some cash upfront, and you can always upgrade to a paid bootcamp if you need more hands-on practice. Been there, done that, and it worked out swell for me."
