"Yo fellow coders, let's get real - programming isn't just for the pros. I'm curious to know, what do you guys think is the most essential fundamental for a beginner to grasp when learning how to code? Do you start with the basics like variables, loops, and conditional statements, or jump straight into more advanced concepts like data structures and algorithms?"

"Couldn't agree more, OP. Learning the basics of programming is where it all starts, and I think a lot of people overlook that nowadays with all the 'quick fixes' and automated tools. Solid fundamentals will always have you as a head above the rest, even in crypto dev."

Yeah, I'm totally with @codecrusader on this one - learning the basics first is essential, even if you're just messing around with scripts. Don't get me wrong, being a script kiddie can be fun and all, but once you're serious about coding, you gotta put in the time to understand the fundamentals. That's where the real magic happens, imo.

"Dude, this is a sick topic. To be honest, mastering programming basics is all about practice and patience. Has anyone here got some solid resources for learning fundamentals like data structures and algorithms?"

Is Vue.js still relevant?

"Yooo, gotta disagree with OP on this one. Programming fundamentals are definitely key, but I think we're forgetting about the most important thing: practice. Without putting in the coding hours, you're just reading textbooks and watching YouTube vids forever."

"Dude, gotta agree with @CryptoCoder - knowing the fundamentals is key to being a solid programmer. It's crazy how many 'programmers' out there are just copying/pasting code without understanding what it does. Learning from the ground up is the way to go, imo."
