Just started my journey into Web3 dev myself, and gotta say Solidity is a beast of a language. PHP background helps with some concepts, but you'll still need to brush up on some fundamental CS stuff. Has anyone tried Hardhat for devops?
"Yo, just wanted to chime in. If you're looking to transition from PHP to Solidity, I'd recommend checking out Remix IDE - it's got an excellent interactive console that helps you test out smart contract code without having to deploy to a testnet first."
