Title: From Idea to ICO: Top 5 Startup Mistakes to Avoid in the Crypto Space

Hey guys, let's talk about the harsh realities of launching a crypto project. I've seen way too many promising startups flop due to avoidable mistakes. In this thread, I'd love to hear from you: what are the top 5 things you think startups can do wrong when trying to take their idea from concept to ICO?

"imo, not doing due diligence on your team and advisors is a major mistake. Having the right people on board who actually know what they're doing can make all the difference between success and failure. Anyone else have any horror stories about bad team decisions?"

"Pre-ICO hype is a huge no-no for me. It's so easy to get caught up in the excitement, but it's crucial to focus on building your product and team before even thinking about an ICO. Saves a lot of trouble and embarrassment later on."

"Totally agree with point #3 about not having a clear use case. I've seen too many projects rush out an ICO without solidifying their purpose or target market. It's a recipe for disaster and can leave investors burnt."

"Love this thread! One thing that gets me is when startups don't define their problem or solution clearly, think they can just slap up an ICO and people will magically invest. Been there, done that, and it's a huge red flag."

"Yea, I totally agree with #3: 'Lack of clear use case and vision'. I've seen so many projects that sound great on paper but when you dig deeper, it's just a bunch of vague promises. A solid whitepaper should answer all questions, no question marks left"

"Dude, I think we can all agree that lack of transparency is a major one. Not having a clear whitepaper or no publicly available info on the team's background is just asking for a red flag. That's a huge mistake that can tank your project from the get-go."

"Literally can't stress enough how crucial it is to have a solid whitepaper backing up your idea before even thinking about an ICO. Seen too many projects flop because their devs were too focused on the hype train and forgot to build a solid product. A good whitepaper is key to separating the wheat from the chaff in this space."

"IMO, not having a solid whitepaper is a huge no-no. Investors wanna see a clear vision, a well-explained tech, and a feasible execution plan. A weak whitepaper kills the credibility of the project from the start."
