Title: Exploring the Dark Side of IPFS: Pros, Cons, and Security Concerns

Hey everyone, I stumbled upon some concerning aspects of IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) and I'd love to start a discussion about the potential risks and downsides. While IPFS has its advantages in terms of decentralization and permanence, I've come across a few security concerns and potential exploits that got me thinking - is IPFS as secure as we think it is?

"Lowkey I think IPFS is still a solid option for decentralized storage, but I 100% agree that security concerns need to be addressed. The anon nature of it makes it vulnerable to attacks, but I've heard some dev is working on a new security module to fix this. Anyone know more about that project?"

"I've been experimenting with IPFS and I gotta say, the decentralization is a huge plus. However, I've also had issues with file corruption and inconsistent caching, which can be a major pain. Has anyone else noticed these issues or found ways to mitigate them?"
