"Dude, I think they're crazy if they think merging with Solana is a good idea. Ethereum's got a solid reputation and userbase, why risk losing some of that identity by tying the chain to another blockchain?"

"I don't think this is a good idea, Solana's proof-of-stake model isn't compatible with Ethereum's current architecture, it would take a lot of effort to merge them successfully. Plus, it feels like Ethereum is trying to clone Solana's scalability features already with Sharding and Optimism. Just let them focus on their own upgrades."
