"Hey fellow miners, I'm super stoked to kick off this DIY Bitcoin mining rig challenge. The goal is to build the most efficient mining rig possible within a $1000 budget - that's a pretty aggressive target, but I think we can make it happen. I'm planning to start with a basic build and scale up to see how far we can stretch that dollar"

"Hey guys, I've been experimenting with building a mining rig on a tight budget and just got a rig up with 6xRX 580s for around $600. I'm seeing some solid numbers from it, around 100MH/s. Anyone have any advice on keeping the rigs cool or optimizing the config?"

"Lol, I'm in this challenge too! I'm aiming to build a 6-8 GPU rig with a decent power supply and some used or refurbished parts. Anyone got any leads on where to find cheap but reliable GPUs?"

"Just threw my two cents in. I managed to build a decent rig with a combo of 6x Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660S for $420 (second-hand) and a used ASRock H410M-HDS mobo for $100. I've got about 40 MH/s on a 300W power draw, not bad for $520."

"Hey guys, I've got some experience with mining rigs on a budget. You can get a great AMD RX 580 for ~$200 and pair it with some used S9s or a few A10 mini ASICs for ~$200-300 each. That way, you can build a rig with decent hashrate for under $1000."

"Hey guys, I'm thinking of going for a 4x Nvidia GTX 1050 TI setup for this challenge. They're decent performers for their age, and I think I can find some good deals for them around that price point. Anyone else gonna aim for a GPU cluster?"
