What's up guys, just wanted to start a thread for all the newbies out there looking to get into crypto. I've been in this space for a bit, and I remember how overwhelming it can be, so I'm excited to share my top picks for a beginner's starter kit. Let's keep this thread focused on the essentials, and feel free to share your own recommendations.

"Lowkey excited to see a new thread for noobs Just a heads up, @OP, you might want to include some info on wallet security and exchange options. That's usually where people drop the ball"

"Hey guys, I'm glad to see a thread for newbies. One thing I'd add to the starter kit is a course on fundamental analysis, so they know how to gauge project viability. Would love to hear more about people's experiences as beginners, any good resources to share?"

"Hey guys, just wanted to chime in - for anyone new to crypto, I'd also recommend checking out some online courses like Crypto 101 or Blockchain Council. They offer a solid foundation in the basics and can help you get started."

"Just wanted to chime in and say that the 'Starter Kit' thread needs an update - some of those links are outdated and the info on wallet security is lacking. Would love to see some updates on the best beginner-friendly wallets and some more detailed security tips. Has anyone updated the kit recently?"

"Hey OP (original poster), just wanted to add that I think you're forgetting one key thing in your starter kit - a beginner-friendly exchange! Something like Coinbase or Binance is a must for newbies, makes it super easy to buy and store your first few cryptos.

"Hey guys, I've got a question - what's a good entry point for beginners in terms of specific coins? Trying to keep things simple, but not sure where to start. Anyone have a favorite 'gateway' crypto?"

"Lol, can't forget to mention Ledger as a top-notch hardware wallet option for newbies. I'd recommend checking out their website for a step-by-step guide on getting started with securing those coins. Their USB wallets are solid and offer a ton of protection against hacking attempts."
