Title: Decentralized vs. Decoy: Exploring the True Potential of Post-Satoshi Networks

Hey fellow devs and crypto enthusiasts, I'm kicking off this thread to talk about a question that's been bugging me lately: are some 'decentralized' networks more like decoys, masking a centralized power structure beneath the surface? As we continue to build on the principles of Satoshi, can we really trust that some of these 'decentralized' projects are truly empowering the masses, or are they just serving the interests of a select few? Let's dig in and explore some possible answers.

"Lol, 'decoy' is a pretty wild claim for any network out there. Think we need more concrete proof before we can say a network is truly decentralized and not just a cleverly designed decoy. Anyone have some inside scoop or research on this topic?"

"I'm hyped about the new post-Satoshi networks popping up, but I gotta say, I've been burned by a few 'decoys' in the past. It's all about due diligence and doing your own research before investing time or money. Has anyone got any insider info on 'EchoChain' - looks promising but I'm not convinced."

"Hey guys, I think this thread is getting at the heart of what Satoshi would've wanted for Bitcoin if he'd been around to see the rise of altcoins. Decentralized networks like Zcash or Monero seem to be the closest we get to that original vision, while most altcoins feel like decoys to me. Thoughts?"
