"DayZ Survivor Mode? My 5 Pro Tips to Stay Alive"

Hey all, just got back to DayZ after a few months off and I'm surprised how rusty I am. Was wondering if anyone has any tips to stay alive in Survivor Mode, especially since it's even more brutal than before. Anyone have some tricks up their sleeve to share?

Just got back from a 72-hour survival challenge in DayZ and I gotta say, Survivor Mode is INSANE. Tip #6 for OP: always loot those abandoned houses in the morning when NPCs are less likely to roll up on you - saved my bacon so many times.
