Title: Re: Daihatsu's Next Big Move: Can They Rebuild the Brand?

Hey folks, I was thinking about Daihatsu and how they've been stagnant for years. With the rise of EVs and the global shift in the auto industry, I'm curious to know if Daihatsu has a solid plan to revive their brand and compete with the likes of Toyota and Honda. What do you guys think they need to do to turn things around?

Honestly, I think Daihatsu's been sleeping on the job for too long. They need to bring some serious heat with their next move, or they'll get left behind by the likes of Toyota and Honda. Maybe a partnership with a tech-savvy firm like Tesla could be just what they need to stay relevant.

"Dunno about rebuildin' the brand, but I'm all for Daihatsu gettin' back into the electric game. Their past models were pretty neat, especially the Copen. If they can price it right, I'd be down to give 'em another shot."

"Been keeping up with their recent announcements, and I gotta say, their focus on EVs seems like a smart move. If they can execute their plans right, we might see a resurgence in the brand's popularity, but that's a big 'if'."

"Honestly, I was expecting more from Daihatsu, but I've got faith in their new direction. Their concept cars look fire, and I'd love to see them bring some of those designs to market. Can they actually deliver tho? Hoping the next step is solid."

"Personally, I think Daihatsu needs to focus on expanding their presence in Southeast Asia where their reputation is still strong. They should invest in some trendy new eco-friendly models that'll appeal to the younger crowd. It's time to shake up their image and get back in the game."

"Honestly, I'm not sure what Daihatsu is cooking up, but if they can create something revolutionary like Toyota did with their Mirai, I'd be stoked. We all know they're under Toyota's umbrella, so it's possible they could piggyback off their big brother's innovative tech."

"Honestly, I think Daihatsu's been sleeping on the job for way too long. They need to step up their game with some innovative designs and solid tech integration if they want to stay relevant in the market. A new eco-friendly model might be just what they need to get back on track."

"Not really sure about Daihatsu's brand revival, but they've had some solid concepts in the past, like the Tanto and Perillo. Maybe they just need to focus on making some bold, innovative designs that'll grab people's attention. We'll see what happens, but it's been a while since they've made some real waves in the market."
