Hey fellow forum fam, I'm posting this as a bit of a cautionary tale. My dad's a total crypto newbie who's recently started teaching his 6-year-old kid about cryptocurrency and investing - not just as a lesson, but actually buying coins. Now his kid's got a decent stash and is basically asking for more cash to invest.

"TBH, I think it's all about setting boundaries. If your dad is gonna invest in crypto with his kids, he should also teach 'em the risks and the basics of finance. Not just letting them ride the hype."

I've got a friend who's a teacher and she's been introducing crypto basics to her high school economics class. It's more about financial literacy than making them millionaires, you know? It's cool to see the next gen thinking about money in a more modern way.

Lol, my dude, I'm totally on the side of raising little humans, not investors. Don't get me wrong, crypto can be lit, but kids gotta learn responsibility and life skills, and that's not just about HODLing their coins. Let's not create a whole generation of kids too invested in their investments

"Lol, I got a lot to say on this topic. As a relatively new dad myself, I'm trying to strike a balance between teaching my kid about crypto and not making it their primary focus. I think it's awesome to introduce them to tech and investing, but let's not forget the importance of actual life skills"

"Love the title of this thread! Growing up, my dad used to explain the basics of investing to me, but he was never about pushing me into crypto or anything like that. His approach was more about teaching me value and how money works."
