Hey devs, let's get the convo started. I've been diving into crypto dev for a while now and I gotta say, there are so many options out there - Solidity for Ethereum, Rust for Polkadot, and even C++ for some big players. What's the most efficient language for building a scalable and secure crypto project in your opinion?

"Hey, gotta say, Solidity is a no-brainer for Ethereum-based projects, but for multi-chain or cross-chain dev, I'd recommend learning about Rust and its potential for security-focused apps. Don't get me wrong, other languages like JavaScript (with Web3) are solid too, but if you wanna build something from the ground up, Rust might be the way to go."

"Hey guys, I've been experimenting with Rust lately and I gotta say, it's been a game-changer for building secure and fast crypto apps. The memory safety features and concurrency model make it a perfect fit for complex crypto tasks. Anyone else using Rust for their crypto dev projects?"

"Hands down, Solidity is the way to go for crypto dev. It's specifically designed for Ethereum and its derivatives, making it a no-brainer for smart contract development. Plus, it's got a ton of resources and a massive community to back it up."

I've gotta say, Solidity is still my go-to for Ethereum dev, but for other crypto projects, I think Rust or Go is where it's at. Both languages offer some serious performance and security benefits that can be a huge plus for high-stakes blockchain work. Has anyone else had success with these languages?
