What's up guys, just saw that NIO is making waves in the EV market and it got me thinking about Chery EVs - have you guys heard about their new models? I was reading some reviews and it seems like they've made some solid improvements over their earlier offerings. Can a Chery EV really compete with the likes of Tesla?

"I'm not a huge fan of cherry-picking specific metrics from reviews, but from what I've seen, the NIO EP9 (not Chery, I assume you meant to say NIO) has some impressive specs that rival Tesla. That being said, I think the real test is how these EVs hold up to long-term reliability and customer support, not just raw performance."

"IMO, Cherry's got its own niche, but they're not gonna dethrone Tesla anytime soon. Their price points are still a bit steep for the average buyer, but I think they're heading in the right direction with some of their newer models. Got anyone here owning a Chery EV or considered buying one?"

"Dude, I've been following the whole Chery vs Tesla thing, and I gotta say, Chery's got some solid tech under the hood. Their new modular EV platform looks promising, but let's see how it holds up in real-world testing. Still think it's too early to crown them the new Tesla, though"

"Dude, I gotta disagree, I drove the new Cherry eQ5 and it's a solid competitor to Tesla's Model 3 - the range and handling are on point. Not to mention the lower price point, makes it a great option for those looking to get into EVs. Still thinking it's worth a look."

"Hey guys, I'm not sure if Chery EVs can compete with Tesla in terms of tech and range, but their prices are definitely more attractive, especially for those in Asia. I've seen some decent reviews on their models, so it's worth keeping an eye on them. Cherry's got a lot to prove, though."

"Dude, I gotta say, their NIO rival actually impressed me with their recent 1500km range announcement. It'll be interesting to see if they can live up to those claims, but it's a step in the right direction. Still gotta give it to Tesla though, they set the bar high."

"I'm not sold on Chery EVs competing with Tesla just yet, their range and charging speeds are nowhere near comparable. That said, their affordability might be a major selling point for those on a budget. Have you guys seen their latest models?"
