Hey guys, I've been thinking a lot about this lately - with all the recent hacks and scandals, can we really trust the 'private' crypto exchanges out there? A lot of them claim to have top-notch security, but I've seen some shady practices even on the supposedly reputable ones. Who else is skeptical about these "private" exchanges?

I'd say it's a mixed bag, bro. Some private exchanges are legit, but others are straight up scammy, and you gotta be careful not to get burned. Always do your research and check the exchange's reputation on other crypto forums before sending your coins over.

Honestly, I don't trust them as far as I can throw 'em. I mean, how private can an exchange be when they need to comply with KYC/AML regulations? It's a total oxymoron, if you ask me.
