Title: Cadillac GT4-V - Worth the Hype or is it just a V6 in disguise?

Just got my hands on some specs for the new Cadillac GT4-V and I'm having mixed feelings about it. They're hyping it up as a V8 powerhouse but I did some digging and it seems to be basically a V6 with a forced induction system tacked on. Is anyone else skeptical about this new engine?
