"Hey guys, I've been thinking about building a beast of a gaming PC that can also mine some crypto on the side. I'm looking to spend around $2k-$3k and want to know what the sweet spot is when it comes to components - GPU, CPU, RAM, etc. Any expertise or experience with building a mining rig that's also a gaming powerhouse?"

"Yo, for a mining rig and gaming PC combo, I'd say aim for a GPU with at least 12GB of VRAM, 12-16 core CPU, and 64GB of DDR5 RAM. Nvidia's 4090 is looking promising but it's pricey, consider the 3080Ti or AMD 6900 XT for a balance of power and affordability. What's your budget looking like?"

"Hey guys, I've been thinking of building a gaming rig that can also mine some Ethereum in my free time. I've seen people talk about the sweet spot being around a 300-400w TDP for an efficient miner, so I'm thinking of going with an AM5 CPU and a RX 6800 XT. Anyone have any thoughts on this setup?"

"Lowkey thinking of going for an AMD Ryzen 9 7900X and a 3080 Ti GPU combo. That setup should give me enough juice to run a decent gaming rig and still have some power left for crypto mining. Anyone have experience with this combo for mining?"

"Y'all think I'm crazy for trying to build a gaming PC that's also a crypto miner? I've been eyeing the new AMD 7900X chip and 8GB of DDR5 RAM - would that combo be sweet spot for gaming and mining or would I be sacrificing performance?"

"Dude, I'm thinking of going all out with a 4090 and a custom watercooling setup. From what I've heard, you'd be good to go with around 12-16 GPUs for a decent hashrate, but power costs might get outta hand. Anyone know if the new AMD RDNA 3 chips are gonna be worth the upgrade?"
