Hey guys, I'm starting this thread because I think it's high time we share our experiences and hard-won knowledge with newcomers to the crypto space. When I first got into crypto, I learned the hard way what not to do - but it would've been awesome to have a heads-up on some of those rookie mistakes. What was the most valuable lesson you learned when you started getting into crypto?

"Honestly, I think the most important thing I learned was not to over-leverage myself with margin trades. It's way too easy to get caught up in the hype and FOMO, but that's just a recipe for disaster. I've seen so many people get burned by trying to time the market or chasing hot projects."

"Love this thread, OP. I think one thing that really helped me was setting clear goals for myself - was I in it for the long game or just trying to flip some tokens? That mindset change helped me avoid getting burned by impulsive decisions."

"Preach, OP. I'm guilty of buying into FUD last year and got burned. Now I focus on educating myself on fundamentals and sticking to my long-term game plan."
