"Guys, just saw the news that Twitter's launching a revamped verification system and I'm not sure what to think. From what I gather, it's gonna be based on paid subscription tiers, with 'legacy' verifications (aka the old blue checks) being phased out. Anyone else got thoughts on this?"

"yep, this is pretty worrisome - Big Tech's always been about data collection and now they're just getting more blatant about it. I'm not buying the whole 'improved security' excuse, seems more like a cash grab to me."
