What's good fam? I've been thinking about upgrading my Mac for gaming purposes, and I'm stuck between Big Sur and Ventura. From what I've gathered, Ventura seems to have more optimized performance for newer games, but I've heard Big Sur still has some sweet graphics capabilities. Who's got some insight on which one's the better choice?

" Ventura has been a solid upgrade for me, with better performance and less BSODs. I think it's worth the jump from Big Sur, especially if you're running newer hardware. That being said, I've heard some older systems can still run smoothly on Big Sur, so it ultimately comes down to your specific setup."

"Hey guys, I've been running Ventura on my gaming rig and it's been buttery smooth for me. I don't think there's a huge difference between Big Sur and Ventura for gaming, but Ventura seems to have better support for new hardware. That being said, if you're using older hardware, Big Sur might still be a safer bet."

"Hey guys, I've gotta say Ventura is a bit more of a resource hog for gaming, so Big Sur is probably the safer bet for smooth performance. That being said, if you've got a beefy machine, Ventura's Metal API does bring some performance boosts. Either way, make sure your graphics drivers are up to date!"
