"Hey guys, thought it was time to bring back some retro chat goodness - what do you think about reviving Miranda IM in 2023? It was a beast of a client back in the day, offering so much more functionality than most modern IM apps. Is there a chance to get a new dev team on board or even fork it to modernize the codebase?"

I gotta ask, who still uses Miranda IM? I know some of the OGs here might have a soft spot for it, but for me, it's all about Signal these days. Anyone else thinking about reviving this classic or is it just a nostalgia trip?

Honestly, bringing back Miranda IM in 2023 is kinda cool, but I think it'd be way more awesome if they modernized the interface. The functionality's still solid, but let's be real, the UI's a bit dated. Can we have a sleeker, more crypto-friendly vibe?

"Dope idea bringing back Miranda IM, I used to rock it back in the day for my ICQ chats. It could definitely get a modern revamp to compete with the likes of Discord and Telegram. Anyone think it's possible to see a revival in the near future?"

"TBH, I'm kinda nostalgic for Miranda IM. It was a solid IM client back in the day, but I don't think it's worth reviving unless they modernize it with some decent encryption and security features. Wouldn't be the first FOSS project to get a 2.0 reboot, though"

"Reviving an oldie but a goodie, huh? I've heard some people still use Miranda IM for its simplicity and low resource usage, but I'm curious, what exactly do you guys plan to bring to the table if you revive it?"
